"Gikan sa mag-laban" (From those who will fight) is the third panel the artist's triptych piece entitled, "Gikan sa Iyang Tala-Adlawan" (From Her Diary). The triptych visually showcases the artist's feelings and thoughts written from her diary entries. This third panel is a visual interpretation of the artist's feeling of hopefulness for a bright, warm, and loving community for queer individuals despite not seeing what the future holds and despite the opposition.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Isis Mata Barillo, artist name "Si Matamis, Ba!" (b. 2004), is a Visual Artist from Cebu City. She is pursuing a certificate in Fine Arts - Studio Arts at the University of the Philippines Cebu (UPC), honing her knowledge and skills as a traditional artist. With her education, Isis aims to venture into the field of Visual Art, utilizing organic materials such as coffee, charcoal, and cocoa.

If you are outside Cebu City, shipping costs will be added to the winning bid.

All auction sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges will be accepted. All proceeds will go the victims of the earthquake.
