My intention with this design was to channel the maximalist spirit of historical grandeur and translate it into a modern, tactile experience. The Victoria bag is for the individual who understands that true power often lies in a quiet, undeniable presence.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Jem Borces is a fashion designer, researcher, and a dedicated educator based in Cebu, known for pushing the boundaries of material and form. Her design practice centers on sustainable approaches and the innovative use of unconventional materials, translating ecological concerns into wearable art. Her distinct aesthetic moves fluidly from abstract to subtle avant-garde, employing progressive techniques to create dynamic, conceptual pieces. She holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Design from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK, is a multi-awarded talent, having been named Best Designer at numerous local and national competitions from 2012 to 2018.
BIDDING POLICY
When placing a bid, you are agreeing to purchase the item at the final highest price if you win the auction.
The winning bidder will receive an email confirmation within 3 days after the auction ends.
Full payment must be made within a week via cash, gcash or online bank transfer. We will send the payment details to the winning bidder.
Failure to complete payment within the stated period may result in forfeiture of the bid and suspension from future auctions.
SHIPPING POLICY
If you are outside Cebu City, shipping costs will be added to the winning bid.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
All auction sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges will be accepted. All proceeds will go the victims of the earthquake.
